Showjumping
How do the points work?
It's simple, points make prizes!
If you would like the chance to become one of the 2020 Showjumping Champions, then you need to become a member of the Back Lane Riding Club (which also entitles you to discounts).
Points will be given to horse and rider combinations (who are members), placed 1st to 4th. (Points are awarded from the date you become a Riding Club member, no points gained at shows prior to membership commencing will be carried forward.)
At the end of the season all the points will be added together to give the Champion and Reserve Champions.
Who can do the shows?
The shows are open to everybody.
Other Information
The shows are unaffiliated but run in accordance to British Showjumping rules.
Back Lane Riding Club T & Cs 2020
The correct showjumping attire should be worn during the competition.

Classes
Class 1
- Clear Round
Class 2 - Novice - Not to exceed 65cm in the first round*
Class 3 - Intermediate - Not to exceed 75cm in the first round.
Class 4 - Open - Not to exceed 85cm in the first round.
Class 5 - Novelty Class (Chase Me Charlie) - Subject to time.
*Horse/Rider combinations who compete in class 2 cannot compete in class 4 at the same competition.
*Horse/Rider combinations who have won the novice championship at Back Lane Stables previously, cannot compete in Class 2.
